Convergence of Texts: Produsage Artefact as an Unstable Sign

Abstrakt

I discuss here the issue of artefacts as unstable signs of produsage in relation to the convergence and hypermedia content. Based on the methodological shift from Barthes' poststructuralist viewer towards Bruns' produser, I describe the essence of user generated content (in context of new media defined by Manovich) in order to depict the main differences between stable and unstable signs.
