The aim of the paper is to present a research of the dissertation aiming to create a set of tests verifying rhythmic abilities of university students in the field of Physical Education and Sports. Tests will be based on the content of the necessary competencies of future teachers.
The dissertation will be a smaller scale of research will be realized, which will form the basis for possible future standardization test batteries for rhythmic capabilities. When creating task parameters and individual tests, the learning outcomes will be based on learning outcomes Competencies expected from educators and coaches in area of skills learning during realizing an optimal combination of motion and music.
The results of rhythmic skills tests will be processed by factor analysis due to possible battery test reduction and non-overlapping verification tests in the assessment of individual components of rhythmical and musical-musical abilities.
