Abstrakt
The new edition of Talking Medicine- Czech for Medical Students develops the Czech language skills required in communication with Czech patients in hospitals. It includes more exercises that utilize different kinds of practice and self-assessment activities.
These exercises include gap-filling, sentence transformation, multiple choice questions, word and phrase matching, jokes and crosswords to make the book more challenging and more fun. The book is English-based and is therefore suitable both for classroom use and for self- study.
Vocabulary and phrases are organized according to specific medical areas. The textbook contains recordings of all the dialogues, useful phrases and some additional listening comprehension exercises.
