European Arrest Warrant; Polish Judicial Reform and Erosion of Mutual Trust Among EU States

Abstract

The article analyses the approach of the Court of Justice of the EU towards the impact of the Polish post-2015 judicial reform on the enforcement of European arrest warrants issued by Polish courts and, more broadly, the interaction between the judicial independence in EU states and the mechanism of mutual recognition in the European Union.
