Abstract

The lecture at the conference targeted Masaryk's first parliamentary term (1891-1893). Specifically, it was a selection of topics where Masaryk perceives the social question as a fundamental aspect of the given issue.

The individual topics were divided into clear blocks and presented on the basis of Masaryk's own political speeches and key ideas. This analysis was supplemented by the response of various periodicals, divided by the political party and the direction to which they belonged, mostly openly.
