Publication at Protestant Theological Faculty |
2018

Abstract

The study focused on the detailed observation of the development of veneration and piety to the sacred pictures by the Jagellonian Utraquists. At the same time, it draws attention to many Czechs (Wenceslaus Coranda jr., Gregory Hrubý of Jelení, Nicolaus Konacz of Hodíškov) and foreign authors (Erasmus of Rotterdam, Martin Luther) and even the sources that have determined the utraquist's position of this issue.
