Psoriasis - review about the disease and the indication to the biologic therapy

Abstract

The article gives the review about psoriasis and discusses especially the treatment options for severe forms of psoriasis. We present two patients with severe psoriasis, where local and systemic treatment has not been successful.

In both of these cases, adalimumab has been shown to significantly improve not only the skin finding, but has also ameliorated joint pains and significantly improved the quality of life of these patients.
