Abstract
Most Czech social workers are familiar with the concept and practice of reflection which they also use as a part of their supervision. This text is intended to those who are not so familiar with reflection, but are interested in it.
Reflexivity in social work should be primarily focused at human being, their need for assistance, their potential changes and potential changes in the context in which it is situated. The social workers reflexivity based on the human empathy, conscience, and the need to " take care " of a human being is seen as the only guarantee of social justice in social work.
