Abstract
The author deals with the status of spiritual care in the largest Austrian prison in Vienna-Josefstadt. As the main source for his lecture he used the book Religion - die letzte Freiheit.
Religionsausübung im Strafvollzug (Religion - Last Freedom. Performance of the Religion in Punishment), which was published in Marburg in 2013.
The author of the book is Ms. Ursula Unterberger, a graduate of comparative religion at the University of Vienna.
The book contains numerous interviews with prisoners, wardens and prison chaplains in Vienna-Josefstadt Prison.
