Abstract

HIV infection (human immune deficiency virus) has heterogeneous symptoms that can make early diagnosis more difficult. Primary detection of HIV infection in a rheumatologist's outpatient clinic is one of the rare cases in patients who are sent for suspected systemic inflammatory rheumatic diseases.

Here we present a case report of a patient with reactive arthritis, sacroiliitis, HLA-B27 positivity in the early symptomatic stage of B HIV infection.
