Abstract
Who are the most important patrons and saints of our country? Whom were they during their lifes and which importance had and have they for our coutry and european civilization? Czech lion familiarizes children readers with saint Ludmila, saint Wenceslaw and many other distinguished personages. Through the destinies of saints familiarizes readers with Czech history and enriches them with knowledges which normally are not in the schoolbooks.
