Abstract

The paper describes several experiments associated with the names of famous physicists:

1) model of Rutherford's experiment based on repulsion of macroscopic objects;

2) simple verification of the Ampère's circuital law;

3) repulsion of thin long cylindrical magnets whose poles are repelled in analogy with Coulomb's law (but with shorter magnets it is much more complex) and

4) Oersted's experiment. In all cases, simple experiments were designed to support understanding of relevant concepts and laws.
