Diagnostics and differential diagnosis of multiple sclerosis

Publication at Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové |
2018

Abstract

Multiple sclerosis is a chronic inflammatory demyelinating disorder affecting the central nervous system. Due to the immunopathological processes involved in the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis and their high activity at the onset of the disease, the emphasis is put on the early diagnosis of this disease.

In order to determine the diagnosis properly, it is necessary to take into account the warning symptoms and the findings of the auxiliary examinations.
