Abstract

The monograph is dedicated to the Revolution of 1848/49 in terms of prominent military personalities and at the same time it describes the course of the revolution in the Habsburg monarchy and the military conflicts of the revolutionary period, especially in Hungary and northern Italy. The book is packed with rich iconographic material.

The Chapters describe battles in Italy and the life of prominent commanders.
