Abstract

The contribution tries to answer the question the function had the drawing with the Portrait of Abbondio Rezzonico and in which purpose was created. The final painting was done by Pompeo Batoni in 1766.

By analyzing the style and the quality of the drawing, the author of the texts concluded that this is not Batoni's work, but that it was probably a copy after the original panting or a drawn record from the inventory.
