Evaluation of throwing in preschool children

Abstract

The objective of this work was to determine the level of mastery of the physical skills of throwing in preschool children (U3 - U6). Motion level was determined by methodologies Haywood (1993) and Haywood with Getchell (2009).

During the measurement, we are also focused on gender differences in the motion level in the context of throw. Overall, it was monitored by 31 children, 18 boys and 13 girls.

Collectively, we can conclude that children reach a relatively low motion level in throw ball.
