Abstract
ln recent years the prevalence of allergy rela ted illnesses is rapid ly growing world-wide. Presumably the increased number of affected patients is caused by changes in lifestyle and several other environmental factors.
General practitioner therefore needs knowledge and information within the range of recommended procedures and knowledge about the options and possibilities of modem allergology, so he can rationally indicate specialized care.
