Analysis of households in the Horní Police estate in 1771 with regard to presence of grandmothers

Abstract

The aim of the article is to present the results of qualitative analysis of a selected group of households, and to contribute to the discussion about possible effect of grandmothers on the survival of grandchildren, which is anticipated by the so-called grandmother hypothesis.
