Zdeněk Hejzlar: The Life and Struggles of a Czechoslovak Reform Communist

Abstrakt

This article deals with the activities of the reform Communist exile, Zdeněk Hejzlar. Based in Stockholm, Hejzlar was instrumental in the functioning of the Listy Group led by Jiří Pelikán.

Based on a plethora of sources, my findings indicate that Hejzlar selflessly worked for freedom in Czechoslovakia in exile between 1969 and 1989.
