Changes of mitochondrial functions in patients suffering from manic episode of bipolar affective disorder

Abstract

The reasons for bipolar affective disorder (BAD) development are multifactorial and have not been fully clarified. This paper deals with the research of mitochondrial dysfunctions as agents of bipolar affective disorder.
