Abstract

The article deals with the functions of the speeches of film characters aimed at subjects who are apparently not parts of the fictional world. The main effect of this technique lies in disrupting the viewer's immersion into the fiction, but it can also sustain his entering into the mode of illusive perception and on the other hand his disconnection from it.
