Abstract
This critical edition comprises the whole correspondence of Karel Havlíček both written by him and addressed to him in the years 1843 and 1844. The core of the volume is created by Havlíček's letters from Russia.
The volume opens with a study introducing the historical context of the presented letters. The letters are equipped with thorough comments, with detailed editors' notes characterising the individual writers' spelling, with a calendar of Havlíček's life and work, and relevant photographs.
