Abstrakt
Essay shows the specifics of the Czech understanding of the development of the geopolitical and cultural nature of Central Europa ("bohemismus", "Austroslavismus") and the special role of T.G. Masaryk in her reformulation towards "Europe" and Democracy during and after World War I.
