Abstract
Although there are only rare literature sources describing these changes we try to summarize concisely and objectively data about absorption, distribution, biotransformation and elimination changes of drug kinetics as during and after short physical stress either during and after systematic training. The main changes in drug kinetics occurring during physical exercise are associated with blood distribution changes and changes of inner environment during dehydration due to exercise induced swelling.
The drug plasma level change is mainly important if the drug has a narrow therapeutic range. Many precisely designed studies have to be performed to describe the exact mechanisms stated above.
