Abstract
The chapter deals with the special construction of a contract on a luggage carriage in accordance with regulation no. 175/2000 Coll., On the Rules of Transport for Public Rail and Road Transport. It is shown that the solution which is indicated in this legal regulation, that the luggage is transported on a separate contractual basis (and not on the basis of a contract on carriage of a person) is unusual in both historical and comparative view.
