Abstract

This book consists of three parts. The first presents the issue of general frameworks of sociological thinking, their different origins and theoretical dilemmas.

The second part of the book deals with the issue of time and memory. The third part focuses on selected authors and their concepts (Foucault, Luckmann, Habermas, Maffesoli).

It concludes by looking at obstacles to interdisciplinarity in the science.
