Abstract
The national minority is made up of citizens of the Czech Republic, who are connected by the joint efforts to preserve and develop their own identity, language and culture. The State creates conditions for this activity and supports programs aimed at this direction and for this purpose also provides subsidies from the state budget.
The conditions and method of granting subsidies are set by the governmental regulation and the use of funds, usually provided in the form of subsidies, is governed by the Act on Budgetary Rules as amended.
