Abstract

Chamberlain's view of France is shaped by his "völkisch" ideology. Therefore, he considers the achievements of the revolution "freedom, equality and fraternity" in a German nationalist way and asserts the decline of the modern democracy.

The article is an attempt to classify the discourse and the concepts of one of the most important precursors of the Nazi movement.
