The chapter examines the manipulation of suitable area for Germanization, decided to support the activity of Národopisná Morav, an ethnographic group from the Slovácko area of Moravia. This association, which worked with well-known experts (Húsek, Václavík), acquired a monopoly on folk celebrations and ethnographic research.
The chapter sheds light on a relatively unknown and unpleasant part of history in the field of ethnology.
