Exploration of the Site of Sphinx (SBK.W-60), Jebel Sabaloka (West Bank) : Findings of the 2014 Field Campaign

Abstract

The article is concerned with post-depositional processes studied at the site of Sphinx (SBK.W-60) in the western part of Jebel Sabaloka during the 2014 field campaign and with their impact on the preservation of archaeological deposits and methodology of field research of late prehistoric archaeology in central Sudan in general.
