Abstrakt
The workshop examined the diverse ways in which historians work to solve contemporary problems through research, public education, and activism. This day-long, international seminar brought together historians from a variety of organizations to exchange ideas on the application and relevance of historical thinking.
The active participants (11) came from three US universities, from one university in UK and from several institutions in the Czech Republic; the audience included five students from NCSU.
