2018

Abstract

The paper deals with the concept of inclusive religious education and its relation to the integration of individuals and groups as well as the religious socialization of the whole Czech society. This method of education of children and religious minorities and majorities shows itself to be very topical, especial in connection with the migration crisis.

The paper offers an insight into the establishment of this new paradigm and teaching method within the current religious pedagogy and methodology, as well as current professional reflection. On the basis of a good-practice example some issues of this type of education are presented: evocation of preconceptions related to an unknown topic, arousing of child's interest in coming to know something about the topic, the role of the teacher in the education and specific competences acquired by this form of education (cultural, understanding the minorities, for higher thinking, theological and spiritual).
