Heritage education and learning in historical gardens and parks: Examples of good practice

Abstract

A handbook focuses on design, implementation and evaluation of heritage education and learning in the environment of historical gardens and parks. It is based on 32 examples of good practice that provide practical guidelines for the development of programmes suitable for schoolchildren, family visitors as well as people with special needs.

The book illustrates possibilities of unlocking educational potential of authentic ambience of historical gardens and parks, especially UNESCO sites in Kromeriz, in order to meet the targets of inclusive education.
