Abstract
This paper deals with the situation of Syrian refugees in Lebanon and the influence of Christian help from churches and humanitarian organisations. The article analyses examples of activities of churches whose leaders underwent inner transformation and which, unlike other churches, got actively involved in helping refugees.
Based on a research, I will try to explain how the inner transformation of leaders became the beginning of the new direction of churches and their active help. The article will also focus on house visits that became an integral part of help of these organisations and on how they result in building social connections between workers and refugees and how through sharing the gospel many refugees became Christians or experienced inner transformation and their lives started changing from inside out.
