Consequences of a Lengthy War: Frogs, Turtles, Pearl Mussels - or Second Serfdom? Economic Innovations in the Třeboň and Hluboká nad Vltavou Dominions in the 17th Century

Abstract

The article presents the structure of innovations employed in the South-Bohemian Schwarzenberg dominions Třeboň and Hluboká nad Vltavou in the second half of the 17th century. The economic policy was not aimed towards the enforcement of the so-called second serfdom.
