Abstract
This essay attempts to review general principles of justice as seen in recent years. I focus on examining various theories and concepts, as well as the relationship between justice and legitimacy; mostly I consider John Rawls, Axel Honneth, Nancy Fraser, Charles Taylor and Jürgen Habermas.
In conclusion, I find the only current general principle of justice: equality.
