Black markets in food and phainomenon of illegal printing offices in Prague during First World War

Abstract

This paper deals with the phainomenon of the black markets in the sphere of food in Bohemian lands in the period of 1914-1918. As for this purpose, author tried to provide the insight in the differentiation of the partial offences and sanctions by civilians.

Furthermore, particular attention is paid to the phainomenon of the illegal print offices in Prague during First World War, which were involved in the printing process and distribution of the ration cards in the sphere of black markets in petrol, food, clothing, and cosmetics.
