Conventual Architecture in Mexico seen from Anthropological Point of View

Abstrakt

The contribution deals with the Mexican monastic architecture that originated in the territory of cpontemporary Central Mexico in the course of the 16th century. It is based on the data colected within the field research that was carried out by the author of the contribution in 2013.

First, this unique architecture is presented, than the anthropology and anthropological approaches and their applications in history of art are discussed.
