Abstract
Historia persecutionis ecclesiae Bohemiae have been appreciated mainly as a very important historical source preserving much unique information about the religious situation in the Bohemian lands in the 20-er of the 17th century. However, the lecture was focused on the presentation HIstoria as a part of the early modern Christian martyrological discource.
We concentrated on the analysis of the martyrological topoi and other means which are serving to presentate the history of the Czech church as a passio. The aim of the lecture was to point out the persuasive qualities of this literary well done attempt to performate the collective identity of the Czech church.
