Abstrakt
A conference speech for an international congress of Slovak Society for Philosophy at Slovak Academy of Science: In the thinking of Soren Kierkegaard, fantasy is a faculty instar omnium, that is the faculty which enables all the others since it serves as a source to intensify the rest of them. It creates a tension between our ideas and their actualisation, between our ideal and the given reality.
This conference speech tries to explain this existential tension as well as thus produced normative images as essential moments of existential transformation in selected texts by Soren Kierkegaard.
