Abstract

The aim was to determine the characteristic features of canine and first premolar transposition and palatally displaced canine, and their associated dental anomalies, primarily hypodontia. We tried to identify the symptoms indicating transposition at an early age,and using available information to clarify whetherthe two anomalous canine locations are etiologically different or have the same genetic basis.
