Abstract

Abduction is considered to be one of the basic logical inferences. In its original concept, it is inextricably linked to Ch.

S. Peirce, who thus referred to the hypothesis process.

However, under the influence of criticism by H. Frankfurth, the term abduction is now referred to as the process of selecting the best possible explanation of a particular phenomenon.

Within the methodology of science, criteria are developed to allow for the choice of the best solution, which can also be inspirational for legal science
