Abstract
The chapter titled On the Road deals with teaching ethics in the Czech Republic, the Federal Republic of Germany and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. It provides analysis and comparison of ethics in basic and secondary schools with regard to objectives, means and methods.
The chapter offers resources for deeper and wider anchoring of the subject of ethical education than it is in the Czech Republic so far. The goals and methods offered are perceived with regard to the tradition of philosophy and practical philosophy in the Czech Republic.
