Abstract
The lecture deals with the issue of reading literacy at primary school. The theoretical part explains the concept of literacy, then focuses on reading literacy and its components, reading methods and reader strategies.
The practical part provides examples of worksheets supporting reading with comprehension. The worksheets are provided with methodical commentary and have been verified in practice at elementary school.
