Bohemia near the sea. The U-Topos of another Europe (Shakespeare, Bachmann, Moníková)

Abstract

The essay follows the traces of Shakespeare's "transfer" of Bohemia to the sea in his drama "The Winter's Tale" in the texts of Ingeborg Bachmann and Libuše Moníková and asks about the utopian potential associated with it in Europe.
