Abstract
The text examines how space relations are expressed in Czech texts written by the Czech deaf. The collection of texts (picture descriptions) is analyzed with a particular focus on the difference between the texts of the Czech Sign Language (existing in the spatial dimension) and Czech texts (which are structured linearly), esp. on expressing spatial relations by Czech prepositions of localization (answering the question "where").
