Publication at Faculty of Humanities |

Abstract

This paper examines the phenomenon of economic nationalism within market interactions of different economic models of governance in the European Union. The first section offers a definition of economic nationalism and introduces the European Union's institutional approach in addressing it.

The second part looks into specific areas where this phenomenon occurs and provides concrete examples from France and the United Kingdom. It also addresses potential links between these governments' interventionist practices and the historical evolution of their respective economic models.
