Abstract
This book focuses on the specific issue of minorities, namely the issue of universities with a minority language. Education in the language of minorities at elementary, often medium-level schools is quite common in Europe, whereas teaching in minority languages at the highest - ie university - level of education is rather exceptional, even in the case of states providing minorities with extensive rights.
