Abstract

This chapter describe the situation of Austria during the period of the Chancellor Engelbert Dollfuss in 1932-1934. It seeks the roots, preconditions and consequences of the creation of the independent Austrian identity in the inter-war-Central Europe.

The key idea of this argumentation emphasise the "Austrianism" as a untarnished "better German" identity during the conflict with the nazi Germany.
