Abstract
The study text Environmental Education is a basic material for the course Environmental Education within the framework of study programmes Educator nad Leisure Time Activities Specialists. The text aims to introduce its readers to the current understanding of Environmetal Education, its significance, methods, objectives and associated challenges as faced by educators' in their practice.
It outlines major global problems and deals with a varienty of ecological and environmental issues as this is a very broad area but aims at providing students with basic information and terminilogy for their further studies.
